Verity: Simplified Processes Announcement

Verity Portal

We are excited to announce some simplified processes in Verity coming your way on September 1st! We have incorporated the feedback you’ve provided about the system and workflows, and are pleased to provide the following simplifications:

  • Providers are no longer required to upload and store Health Status, Education, and Work History in Verity. You are more than welcome to do so, though, as we’ve heard from many of you that the system has been a huge support to your organizations in managing practitioner records.
    • Please note that Providers are still required to ensure all practitioners are in conformance with these requirements, as outlined in the BHPN Provider Manual. The only change is that the documentation is not required to be stored in Verity.
  • Providers no longer need to submit Workflows. Instead, you will find a field on the Facilities screen for each Practitioner in which you will attest to whether the Practitioner meets BHPN Requirements. Once this button is selected as “Yes”, the practitioner will get rostered with BHPN.
  • With these simplified processes we will be resuming practitioner file audits as part of the annual audit function. Verity can be leveraged for this as the auditor can review the needed documents directly in Verity.

We will be posting an updated Verity User Guide here in the BHPN Provider Portal that outlines the updated processes in Verity, including an updated list of required fields and folders. We will also post an on-demand training video that you can utilize to guide you through these refreshed processes, if needed.

In addition, you are always welcome to reach out to your QA Manager for one-on-one assistance with Verity at any time.
