Cultural Responsibility Training

The BHPN is committed to promoting the quality of our services for our client families, including cultural responsibility and sensitivity. As part of that commitment, we have a new training on Cultural Sensitivity and Responsibility which you can find here in the Provider Portal and through a quick search of the Industry Resources. A slide deck as well as a video recording of the training are available so you can determine which approach works best for delivering this content in a meaningful way.

We ask that you share this training with all staff members that may interact with BHPN clients and families at any point, including but not limited to practitioners, receptionists and scheduling staff by July 23, 2021.

This training is intended to reinforce the delivery of healthcare services in a culturally responsible manner which meets the social, cultural and linguistic needs of our shared clients and families. Please plan to review this with all staff members outlined above on an annual basis to support ongoing competency in cultural responsibility and sensitivity.
