As you may know, on December 22nd, 2021 the State of California Department of Public Health issued an Order mandating that all workers who provide services or work in certain healthcare facilities be vaccinated against COVID-19, including a booster, by February 1st, 2022. On January 25th, 2022 the deadline was extended to March 1st, 2022.
Our understanding is that the Order applies to the same group that the prior order applied (see previous post from August 2021). Consistent with the Department of Public Health’s Orders and prior BHPN guidance, the BHPN recommends that Providers that operate a covered facility or setting will establish the necessary internal systems and processes to enforce the order.
