Over the past few weeks, our providers have submitted a significant increase in COVID-19 exposure reports. As a reminder, please submit the updated Direct Exposure Form and Call Customer Service within two hours of known direct exposure. Please send in the completed form within 24 hours. Complete the form with as much detail as possible to reduce the need for clarification.
Also, please note the following reminders:
- Encourage families and clients to follow CDC guidelines, including caregivers wearing masks.
- Ensure you have mask toleration goals for clients who have difficulty wearing masks.
- You still must use PPE even if vaccinated.
- If a practitioner is experiencing any symptoms, regardless of vaccination status, in-person treatment should not be performed by that practitioner.
- Remember that telehealth is a great option if there are any concerns regarding exposure.
